Monday, 11 a.m.: Cliff Colnot directs the Civic Orchestra of Chicago in Copland's "Appalachian Spring" and Strauss' Second Horn Concerto, featuring soloist Daniel Gingrich.

Tuesday, 2 p.m.: Singer Dianne Reeves and saxophonist Joe Lovano join the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra to honor the 70th anniversary of Blue Note Records.

Wednesday, 7 p.m.: An examination of how music plays an integral part in everyone's identity on "myTunes: Music & Identity," part 5 of the series "The Nerve: Music & the Human Experience."

Thursday, 8 p.m.: A discussion with Michael Pollan, author of "Botany of Desire," and filmmaker Michael Schwarz, producer and director of the PBS film adaptation, is featured on "City Arts and Lectures."
