GREAT FALLS - A $4.3 million renovation of a Great Falls bridge and bike trail has made the road safer for bikers and pedestrians.
Cyclist Casey Hall says he's happy he won't have to hug the side of the once-narrow Overlook Drive Bridge anymore. In addition to widening the bridge, the project rerouted a popular bike trail to make it safer. The work expanded Great Falls' trail network.
Doug Wicks, president of the nonprofit organization Recreational Trails Inc. says his group is seeking a state grant to make more renovations and expansions to the trail system.
