Callie Kautzmann of the Montana State Billings women’s basketball team has been selected the Great Northwest Athletic Conference player of the week.

Kauztmann, a 5-10 sophomore forward, scored 63 points, had 21 rebounds, five assists and seven steals to help the Yellowjackets win three games in a seven-day span. All three wins were by double-digit margins.

The Nampa, Idaho, native shot 56 percent from the floor and 43.8 percent from 3-point range. Kautzmann opened the season with 24 points in the season opener against Colorado-Colorado Springs and followed it with a career-high 26 points against the University of Mary. In the win over Chadron State, Kautzmann pulled down a career-high 11 rebounds.
