WHITEFISH - Taesha Higbee of Montana Tech and JaRon Brown of Montana Western were named the Frontier Conference women's and men's basketball players of the week, respectively.

Higbee, a 5-foot-9 guard from Taylorsville, Utah, averaged 24 points and 10 rebounds per game as Tech won two games over Snow College and Eastern Oregon.

Brown, a 6-6 senior post from Federal Way, Wash., averaged 18 points and six rebounds as Western defeated Multnomah University and Dickinson State.
