BOZEMAN — Alexis Kaufusi, Haley Hall and Kristen Riley scored 12 points apiece in leading Brigham Young University past Montana State University 79-54 Friday night in women’s basketball.
Kaufusi also grabbed nine rebounds as BYU improved to 2-1 on the young season. MSU, in dropping to 2-1, shot just 31 percent against the Cougars.
The Bobcats, who were three of 21 from 3-point territory, were led by the 10 points of Sarah Strand.
