Regular season

Skyview 19, Bozeman 14

BOZEMAN - Quarterback Connor Lebsock scored on a 36-yard keeper play with 8:22 remaining Friday night to carry Billings Skyview past Bozeman 19-14 in the final regular-season Class AA game for both teams.

The Falcons, 7-3, and Hawks, 6-4, are both bound for the state playoffs. Skyview will open up against Kalispell Glacier on Friday, but the game's site is still to be determined.

Lebsock's touchdown run capped a remarkable 97-yard drive by the Falcons on a muddy field. He passed for 163 yards and one TD on the night, and also rushed for 50 yards and the winning score.

Teammate Casey Bigelow added 72 yards on 10 carries. Jake O'Brien had two receptions for 78 yards.

Skyview opened the scoring in the first quarter with a 68-yard pass to O'Brien. The Falcons trailed 14-7 at halftime, but closed to within 14-13 in the third quarter on a 1-yard run by Carson Hilliard.

Bozeman quarterback Tanner Roderick had a 53-yard scoring stroke to Matt Kallstrom-cho and also ran 5 yards for another TD. Roderick passed for 125 yards and rushed for 73.
