Four members of the Billings Blues U16 girls fastpitch softball team were named to the All-American team of the Colorado Sparkler College Exposure Tournament earlier this month in Denver.

Blues players Kim Adelblue (catcher), Keela Nedens (third base), Katie Kent (third base/outfield) and Jessyka MacDonald (pitcher/outfield) earned All-American honors.

The Sparkler tournament features 600 teams from 45 different states and more than 300 college coaches recruiting in Colorado during the week.

Throughout the tournament, players are selected to play in All-Star games based on their performance during their team's games. The All-Star games are coached by college coaches.

Players can then be selected to the All-American team based on their performance in the All-Star games.

The All-American players have the opportunity to be part of the Triple Crown USA national traveling team.
